從光復糖廠出發，沿著林田幹線騎乘途經馬太鞍部落、古屋最後抵達秘境景點吉利潭。

Fenglin Town:
Fenglin is the first town in Taiwan to be certified as Slow City by the Cittaslow International. The land area is about 120km2 , and population is about 10,000 people, and the population density is about 89 people per km2.What’s special in here includes Amis culture, Japanese immigrant village culture, Hakka culture, Tobacco Barn culture, Hyakkiyakou Night (Goblins Night), rice, soy milk, peanuts, peeled peppers, presidential melon, cinnamon, Shansu, various farming experiences and DIY.

Tobacco Barn：During the the colonization of Japanese, besides Fenglin, Ruisui, Ji’an, Yuli and Fuli took important places as well, in tobacco plantation of Hualien area. Fenglin Tobacco Building was originally built by the Japanese. Later, most of the tobacco barns during the Japanese colonization were mostly damaged. Until the 1960s when the government granted tobacco planting licenses, the number of farmers engaged in the tobacco industry increased rapidly. Beilin Village and Dayong Village in this district are considered the densest place with tobacco barns, and with the most intact tobacco barns in Taiwan. Currently, there are still 42 tobacco barns in urgent need of renovation.
Over the years, the Fenglin Township Office has successively renovated 4 tobacco barns for demonstration. HsuChiaHsing Yanlou, LinChinCheng Yanlou, Yu’s Manor Yanlou, and LiaoKuai Yanlou, they transformed these cultural assets with local characteristics into tourist attractions with profound educational significance and recreational functions.
Mr. Ming-Tang Hsu, uses his friendly farming technique to grow rice, soybean, and black beans. With “Torii Farm” as the brand of home-grown crops, he started to promote food agriculture education. By the experience of harvesting the rice, the attempt to connect people with land and crops begins. The scattered seeds will always respond in different ways.
Madam Bi-Xia (Mama Bi-Xia) is a well-known expert of cooking in the village. Whether it is traditional Hakka cuisine, handmade soy sauce, fermented bean curd and so on, there’s nothing she can’t make. Her greatest wish is to let more people understand the traditional food culture of the community and keep the local traditional delicacies.

l Charges
We collect “Handling Charge” according to number of participant. Other charges (eg. material, instructor, transportation, tour guide, meal & insurances) will be reimbursed with receipts & invoices.
12－18 people: NT$500/person
19－25 people: NT$400/person
CHARGES FOR A FULL ENGLISH TOUR GUIDE WILL BE DIFFERENT.
Handling charges including costs of contacting operators (such as paperwork, telecommunication) and field trips with students etc.
