Hakka-style restaurant. We offer set menu for 2-12 pax, comes with private rooms. Most importantly, the famous Hakka bucket chicken must be reserved in advance!
There are centuries-old trees and vast grassland, homestays, cafes, and even Hakka-style restaurant! This is the first homestay in Taiwan that combines Yanlou (tobacco barn). You can get to experience the Yanlou culture here by joining the tour guide.
Centennial camphor trees are also in the homestay area. The FangShuh Restaurant is known as the love of the locals. Open space and private rooms are both available here. There’s many wooden art pieces in the restaurant, showing the diversity here.
Hakka Tongziji (barrel chicken) and Laichun pig’s feet are very famous. An appetizing way to eat it: pour soup over the rice, so irresistible! This is also the most recommended restaurant by locals. The dish “Guo-mao (vegetable fern)” is also a must-eat when you come here, which is totally different from the other counties.
