從光復糖廠出發，沿著林田幹線騎乘途經馬太鞍部落、古屋最後抵達秘境景點吉利潭。

Fenglin Town:
Fenglin is the first town in Taiwan to be certified as Slow City by the Cittaslow International. The land area is about 120km2 , and population is about 10,000 people, and the population density is about 89 people per km2.What’s special in here includes Amis culture, Japanese immigrant village culture, Hakka culture, Tobacco Barn culture, Hyakkiyakou Night (Goblins Night), rice, soy milk, peanuts, peeled peppers, presidential melon, cinnamon, Shansu, various farming experiences and DIY.

“Shoutien Temple” was a religion center reconstructed from residence house earlier, and the god they worship is Yi-Min-Ye, who is a god Hakka Communities worship. The statues of gods and temple was destroyed under the imperialization movement during the Japanese colonization. After the war, they used the storehouse left by the Japanese, to rebuild it into the “Shoutien Temple” today. Nowadays, it has became the main spiritual sustenance of residents in the community. Whether important or not so important things happened they pray to the god, to relieve their worries and pressure and calm themselves down.
“Mingxin Ice Shop” has a history of 50 years, and is part of the summer childhood memories of people in Fenglin. The must-have in here is Triple Bean Shaved Ice and Lemon Juice, which is why people in Hualien would recommend this shop. Don’t forget to bring your phone along with you if you’re going on weekends because there will be a very long queue.
“Pickup Bean House” was a winehouse during the Japanese colonization period. After the transformation by the team of the establisher, Ren-Shou Cheng, they’ve retained the appearance of the old Japanese house, and it has become a store selling community crafts and agricultural products. The most popular of the store are tofu and tofu made from eco-friendly soybeans.
Besides the fresh air in Fenglin, another thing which makes it different is that it’s full of flower and greens. “Flora Handmade Paper Nightlight DIY” activity is to collocate with the handmade paper created from the plants in the community, which is not only a graphic artwork, but also incorporates the community’s environmental and ecological awareness, and the handmade paper has a wide range of uses. It can be used not only as a lampshade, but also as a decoration or card.
Or you can choose to experience the joy of ink splashing on Lotos pots, by using recycled waterproof material made from reservoir silt, remolding your own model to make a Lotos pot, and feel the satisfaction brought by slow handcrafting. While waiting for the demolding time, we be your local guide, walk around, take a look around, and eat around with you. Until the demolding time is up, your unique work will be revealed!

We collect “Handling Charge” according to number of participant. Other charges (eg. material, instructor, transportation, tour guide, meal & insurances) will be reimbursed with receipts & invoices.
12－18 people: NT$500/person
19－25 people: NT$400/person
CHARGES FOR A FULL ENGLISH TOUR GUIDE WILL BE DIFFERENT.
Handling charges including costs of contacting operators (such as paperwork, telecommunication) and field trips with students etc.
